The Malta Dynamics EdgeHog™ Leading Edge Self-Retracting Lifeline is engineered for foot-level tie-off and sharp-edge applications where traditional SRLs are not approved. Built to perform in demanding edge environments, this Class 2 SRL is designed to withstand the increased forces and abrasion associated with leading edge falls.
The EdgeHog features a durable thermoplastic housing and a galvanized steel cable lifeline, along with a 360° swivel top connection that helps prevent twisting while you work. The lifeline extends and retracts smoothly as the worker moves, and the quick-action braking system is designed to engage rapidly in the event of a fall to help reduce arrest distance and force.
Available in 20’, 30’, or 50’ lengths, these leading edge SRLs provide flexibility across rooftops, decking, elevated walkways, and other exposed edge environments. Each unit meets the requirements for ANSI Z359.14-2021 Class 2 performance and OSHA 1926/1910 compliance.
